AM/DM - Logistics Imports

As a Logistics Coordinator at the company, your role involves liaisoning with Transporters, Shipping Line, Custom House Agents, TKM, and concerned departments in MSIL. You will be responsible for handling Logistics Service Providers, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring timely and damage-free supply of parts. Your key responsibilities include: - Managing the Logistics Service Providers for timely & safe delivery of consignments. - Coordinating with various stakeholders (internal / external) to meet operational requirements. - On-boarding the Logistics Service Providers through RFQ process in SAP Ariba. - Executing work orders/agreements with Logistics Service Providers and ensuring proper adherence. - Ensuring proper tracking of all consignments and adherence to defined KPIs. - Conducting root-cause analysis of transit damages and implementing action plans to reduce damages. - Initiating new initiatives to achieve cost savings and increased safety in operations. - Liaising with various LSPs such as customs brokers, port authority, shipping lines, forwarders, and transporters. - Coordinating with LSPs and aligning fleet for managing last-mile dispatch as per MSIL norms. - Providing MIS reporting as per management requirements. The qualification required for this role includes experience in logistics coordination, knowledge of SAP Ariba RFQ process, strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis, and excellent coordination and communication abilities.
