What you will do
The Marketplace Trading Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve commercial objectives in marketplaces, particularly Amazon. This role involves managing budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up to date of industry trends to drive the organizations success in the marketplaces.
Expansion
  • Develop a marketplace entry strategy for each country, including regulatory and entry guidelines, go-to-market plans, operational setup, pricing strategies and performance marketing/ content plans.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including account creation, product listing and content creation and sharing, inventory setup, payment gateway integration, and logistics arrangements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for project management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and legal requirements in each target market.
Trading
  • Responsible for monitoring the sales performance and profitability and propose actions to meet the plan.
  • Manage the relationship and daily business operations with the marketplace and stay up to date with policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure brands compliance.
  • Develop a strategic assortment plan per marketplace: determine the appropriate product mix, inventory and price ranges.
  • Set up sales plan / stock allocation per market and marketplace.
  • Develop and implement the marketing and sponsored products campaigns in accordance with the group strategy to meet sales and profitability target.
  • Execute and safeguard brand strategy by overseeing and managing the brands presence and retail price according to Company and brand strategy.
What you will bring
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in digital business development in European markets, or international expansion, with a focus on online marketplaces, particularly Amazon.
  • A deep passion for E-Commerce and a understanding of digital business models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Ability to prioritize topics independently.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience within international environments, consultancies, or a start-up environment.
