Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development & Execution

    : Assist in developing sales strategies aimed at expanding the customer base, increasing revenue, and improving client retention. Collaborate with the team to execute these strategies effectively.
  • Account Management

    : Maintain relationships with key business clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting

    : Support lead generation efforts, targeting potential B2B clients through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and other outreach methods. Assist in qualifying leads and setting up meetings for senior sales members.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis

    : Assist in tracking sales performance, providing regular reports, and offering insights to optimize sales strategies. Monitor sales KPIs and suggest corrective actions if targets are not being met.
  • Client Negotiations & Proposals

    : Help in the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and contracts. Assist in negotiating terms and pricing with clients to close deals.
  • Team Collaboration & Support

    : Work closely with other sales and marketing team members to ensure the smooth flow of information and alignment of strategies. Assist in training and mentoring junior sales staff.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis

    : Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas of growth. Use this information to adjust sales approaches accordingly.

  • Customer Feedback & Issue Resolution

    : Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, resolving issues promptly, and escalating matters when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to track sales metrics and trends.
  • Experience in specific industries or markets (e.g., tech, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales lifecycle and customer journey.
