Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your role involves conducting feasibility studies of technical drawings and estimating development costs for new product development in Grey iron and SG iron. You will need to have a strong knowledge of Chemical composition, Mechanical properties, and Microstructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Establishing Methoding and gating systems for castings - Designing, developing, assembling, and maintaining patterns - Proving samples as per drawings/STDs and establishing production processes - Preparing documentation such as PPAP, APQP, Process flow, and Control plans - Improving yield upon proving - Controlling rejections/reworks by predicting relevant parameters and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) - Handling customer complaints effectively Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of Pro-E and Solid Works. Your experience should include a proven track record in castings to meet Radiographic levels as per ASTM/ASME standards. Let me know if you need any further information.,
