Job Description

Scope and Area of Responsibility Knowledge / Experience 8 to 10 years preferably in automotive application This position is primarily responsible to lead D&D of eSCVs in durability, MBD, vibration and crash domains. Performing baseline static analysis at part, system and vehicle levels, Analyse failure zones and provide recommendations. Need to support design confirmation, test support and test-to-CAE correlation. Regular interaction with the leads, Liaison Engineer and Component Module Leaders in an efficient manner to give conclusive feedback and design recommendations. Understanding of design constraints and ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions. Lead a team size of 3 CAE Engineers. Responsible for planning and scheduling for effective utilization of manpower and software and hardware for successful projects execution. Deliver with highest quality standards in CAE. Mentor new team members on technical skills as part of their job training Essential Work experience in CAE Pre-and Post-processor - Hyper mesh, Hyper view, Optistruct, Radioss, Motionsolve and Hyperlife Expertise in model build, analysis and post processing of full vehicle level and system level linear static Analysis with inertia relief, gravity loads and Modal Analysis. Expertise in model build, analysis and post processing of full vehicle level and system level frequency response analysis with data from RLDA. Expertise in non linear analysis of joint regions, preloaded structures and seals. Experience in certification related crash test at ARAI. Basic knowledge in vehicle dynamics Past experience in providing design suggestions based on analysis listed above. Experience in CAE to test co-relation, vehicle target settings and refinements as per latest automotive trends. Theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis. Good communication, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills. Knowledge of different regulatory and non-regulatory requirements. Qualification: BE/B. Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
