Purpose Role of the Position

1. Accounting maintenance of books of accounts

1.1. Ensuring proper maintenance ofaccounts and documentation of the same in line with various tax lawrequirements.

1.2. Ensuring regular scrutiny ofthe assigned GL accounts so that there are no unexplained balances.

1.3. Ensuring proper period endaccounting.

1.4 Balance Sheet and Profit Loss account preparation.

2. Statutory compliance

2.1. Ensuring statutory complianceof direct taxes and ensuring timely remittances of the same.

2.2. Income Tax Audit

2.3. Transfer Pricingand Finalization of TDS Return

2.4. Preparation of Tax Auditreports in consultation with Statutory Auditors

2.5. Prepare and file replies toshow cause cum demand notices.

2.6. Fulfill statutory complianceunder direct tax laws.

3. Audits

3.1. Participating with/ attendingto statutory and internal audit

4. Direct Management:

4.1. Liaising with Income TaxAuthorities / Tax Advisors, Tax Auditors

4.2. Stay updated on changes in taxlaws and case law developments, which may be relevant for planning compliance

4.3. Administer all direct taxprocesses and compliances, including corporate tax timely and accuratemanner.

4.4. Ensure the implementation ofrecommendation provided various auditors (internal External) and monitorconsistency.

5. Others

5.1. Identify development areas fordirect tax and implement action plans for development.

5.2. Experience of working inCorporate Taxation and responsible for multiple client interactions.

5.3. Tax assessment, income taxaudit, tax audit, corporate taxation, analytical skills, corporate tax, directtax, audit reports, Transfer pricing.
