As a Rooms & Guest Services Operations team member at The Westin Chennai Velachery, you play a crucial role in assisting management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, setting a positive example for others. Your responsibilities include reporting accidents and unsafe work conditions to your manager, completing safety training, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. It is essential to maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and anticipate guests" service needs. In this role, effective communication is key. You will engage with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues is important, as well as ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards. Additionally, you may be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, as well as lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. The preferred qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience.
