1. Passenger Handling Assisting passengers during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation. Verifying travel documents (tickets, passports, visas). Handling special assistance needs (e.g., elderly, disabled passengers). Providing flight information and directions within the airport. 2. Baggage Handling Tagging and loading baggage during check-in. Unloading luggage from aircraft. Managing lost or damaged baggage claims. Ensuring baggage is sorted and transferred correctly. 3. Ramp and Aircraft Services Marshalling aircraft to the gate. Operating ground service equipment (tugs, belt loaders, etc.). Refueling, de-icing, and lavatory servicing of aircraft. Loading/unloading cargo and luggage. 4. Security and Safety Ensuring all safety regulations are followed on the ground. Monitoring restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access. Assisting with emergency procedures when required. 5. Customer Service Answering passenger queries and addressing complaints. Providing information about flight delays, cancellations, or gate changes. Ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience. 6. Coordination and Communication Liaising with airline crew, air traffic control, and other airport departments. Coordinating flight schedules, gate assignments, and ground services. Reporting technical or operational issues promptly. Key Skills Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Physical fitness (especially for baggage and ramp staff). Problem-solving and quick decision-making. Teamwork and flexibility with shifts, including nights and weekends.
