Air Freight pricing and customer service

As the Assistant / Deputy Manager Air Freight Procurement, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of air freight services. Your role will involve supplier negotiation, cost optimization, ensuring service quality, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will play a key role in building vendor relationships, analyzing freight trends, and driving process improvements in the air freight vertical. Key Responsibilities: - Handle air freight procurement for imports and exports. - Finalize freight rates and service agreements. - Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues (delays, damages, etc.). - Ensure compliance with air cargo regulations and internal policies. - Work closely with logistics, planning, and finance teams. - Maintain accurate records and generate freight cost reports. - Keep updated on air freight market trends and pricing. Qualifications Required: - Education: Graduate in any field; MBA in logistics is a plus. - Experience: 4-6 years in air freight, logistics, or freight forwarding.
