Job Description:
Negotiate rates with shipping line & vendors ( FCL's, Special Equipments – Flat Racks / ODC's / Break bulk )
Procurement of DDU /DDP rates from the network
Customer & Network quotations
Follow up with Customers & Network on offers submitted.
Successful conversions & business wins
Shipment planning & booking
Responsible for Customer Service as an extended service to Procurement.
GDP & CTPAT compliance
Qualifications:
Candidate must be hard core ocean freight pricing specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience
Pan India pricing exposure and market knowledge is highly recommended
Freight forwarding experience is mandatory having handled large volumes
Carrier and Capacity Management capabilities across shipping lines
Notes:
Work from office is mandatory
