We’re building our product Babblio, an AI-powered English learning app that helps learners practice fluency with AI avatars, real-time feedback, and group discussions.

We’re looking for a passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our core team and help shape the future of AI-driven language learning.

What You’ll Do

• Build and fine-tune LLM-based conversational models (OpenAI, Grok, HuggingFace, LangChain, RAG, etc.).
• Enhance speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) pipelines for real-time learner feedback.
• Develop personalized learning recommendations using ML/NLP.
• Optimize AI models for scalability and multilingual expansion.
• Collaborate with AppMatric’s engineering team to deliver AI-powered features like AI Avatars, voice practice, and adaptive assessments.
• Explore and implement the latest research in Generative AI and EdTech AI applications.

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus), and RAG pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of NLP techniques (embeddings, summarization, intent detection, personalization).
• Experience in speech processing (STT/TTS, Whisper, Vosk, Coqui.ai, etc.).
• Deployment experience on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with APIs/microservices.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building chatbots/voicebots or AI-driven learning tools.
• Familiarity with multimodal AI (speech + text + avatar).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and scalable MLOps pipelines.
• Background in EdTech or gamified learning platforms.
