About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Video Editor and AI Video Creator who excels in both traditional video editing and cutting-edge AI video generation. This is a pivotal role for a creative professional who thrives at the intersection of art and technology, and who wants to be instrumental in building the next generation of scalable, visually compelling content.

In this role, you’ll not only edit video content but also design and implement AI-driven workflows, experiment with prompt engineering, and help establish new standards for visual storytelling.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraditional Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into polished videos with strong storytelling and brand alignment
• Apply transitions, motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and finishing techniques
• Maintain consistent visual quality and branding across platforms and formats
• Repurpose content for diverse channels like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others
• Collaborate on narrative development and creative direction

AI-Driven Video Creation

• Generate visuals, scenes, and videos using AI tools such as Runway, Pika, Midjourney, DALL·E, and Sora
• Write and refine prompts to produce high-quality visual assets
• Develop reusable AI workflows and scalable content pipelines
• Integrate AI-generated visuals seamlessly into traditional editing projects
• Apply compositing, visual effects, and stylistic enhancements to AI outputs

Collaboration & Strategic Input

• Work closely with creative strategists and other team members
• Transform creative briefs into actionable prompt systems and storyboards
• Communicate project timelines, progress, and potential challenges proactively
• Stay current with trends in AI video creation, generative design, and emerging technologies

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Prompt-to-Output Efficiency: Speed and accuracy of generating high-quality AI visuals
• Creative Output Quality: Percentage of edits approved without major revisions
• Tool Innovation Rate: Frequency of adopting and testing new AI tools, plugins, and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Midjourney, DALL·E, Sora)
• Strong skills in motion graphics and visual effects
• Deep understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and composition
• Experience developing AI-driven pipelines for scalable content production
• Ability to write clear, effective prompts for generative visual tools
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator)
• Skilled in managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments
