About the Role
Kongsberg Digital is building the
AI-first future of industry
. We are looking for an AI Engineer
with strong computer science foundations
and proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions
. The ideal candidate has solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and system design
, coupled with experience integrating AI into modern web platforms and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement
scalable AI-powered features
such as copilots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), search and other AI capabilities.
- Build efficient
end-to-end pipelines
that handle large-scale industrial data with reliability and low latency.
- Integrate AI services into
the Digital Twin ecosystem
, ensuring seamless operator experiences.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to optimize models and workflows for
performance, efficiency, and robustness
.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, product teams, and domain experts to translate concepts into
production-ready solutions
.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our
AI-first industrial platform
by writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s / master s in computer science
, Engineering, or related field
.
- Strong foundation in
data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and system design
.
- Professional experience building and deploying AI/ML-driven solutions.
- Ability to design and implement
scalable APIs and services
within modern full-stack environments (MEAN stack experience is a strong plus) and for mobile as well.
- Knowledge of
search, optimization, and applied AI techniques
such as anomaly detection, recommendation, and natural language interaction.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with ability to balance
theoretical rigor
and practical deployment needs
.
- Experience in
Industrial domains is a plus.
