Job Purpose

To take responsibility for statutory compliances with respect to environment sustainability involving compliances of MOEF, PCB and CGWB including obtaining government clearances as well as reclamation and rehabilitation.

Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) Supporting Actions KRA1 1)Business Excellence Monitoring and partnering maintece of qualitative parameters with respect to environment during mining activities Partnering implementation of SOPs related to environment in all aspects of mining operation under jurisdiction Facilitating preventive and predictive maintece as well as breakdown maintece of all equipment related to pollution control towards continuous uptime of the same KRA2 2)Cost Giving inputs for CAPEX with respect to equipment and infrastructure for pollution control and environment sustainability KRA3 3)Cash Improving profitability by eliminating penalty on account of noncompliance or environmental laws or negative fallout of pollution in the vicinity of the mines KRA4 4)Customer Sharing data and collaborating within and across functions Minimising response time in providing information and solutions to all internal and external customers KRA5 5)Sustainability Monitoring and partnering implementation of statutory guidelines with respect to PCB and MOEF. Monitoring and partnering sustainability through Mine Restoration as mandated by law through backfilling of exhausted mines and green belt creation. Environment related compliances of Richughuta and Meralgram Sidings. Compliances and monitoring related activities of Orsapat and Chiro Kukud Mines. KRA6 6)Safety Implementing safety standards to achieve zero harm. Giving inputs for emergency handling readiness with focus on environment KRA7 7)People development and engagement Partnering deployment of physically fit and appropriately trained contractual workforce towards implementing environmental guidelines.
