permanent works
: segmental lining, secondary lining, waterproofing systems, fire/life safety provisions, ventilation niches, cross passages, caverns, station boxes. - Perform
design optimization
(thickness, reinforcement, joints/gaskets, bolt patterns, thrust blocks, ring build, shear keys, grout mixes), balancing safety, time, and cost. - Author

sessions.
Construction Support
- Provide
site technical support
: respond to RFIs, NCRs, redline markups, and shop drawing reviews
. - Conduct
site visits
for geological/ground verification, instrumentation strategy (settlement/ground movement), and TBM/NATM method compliance
. - Support
claims/variations
with robust technical substantiation.
Management & Mentoring
- Manage
design teams
and external subconsultants; plan resources, schedules, deliverables, and budgets. - Mentor junior engineers; institute
