Job title: HVAC Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (Secunderabad)

Terms: Full time 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Qualification: BTech Mechanical

Experience: 7+ Years

About the role:

• Lead the HVAC department for Industrial project design.
• Co-ordination with client for taking inputs and design purpose.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Architectural, Structural, MEP
  Engineering, and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Preserve Project data and drawings in common place for future references.
• Developing the team below for future projects.

Responsibilities:

• HVAC, Ventilation System Design & Detailing:
• conforming to the standards, statutes, regulations and safety codes of NBC, BIS, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ARI, ASME, AMCA and designed to efficiently and effectively operate for maximum energy efficiency and low noise level in all climatic conditions.
• Prepare Design Basis Report.
• Load Estimate- Cooling & Heating
• Designing of Entire Ventilation system
• Determine room-by-room loads and air-flows using standard Manual calculation procedures
• fire-walls, and other potential obstructions. Determine register locations and types, duct lengths.
• Size duct system according to standard Manual calculation procedures.
• Size HVAC equipment to sensible load using standard manual procedures.
• Equipment selection based upon design calculations
• Closely interact with the architect / clients and prepare preliminary schemes for approval
• Preparation of cost estimate
• Preparation of tender documents
• Issue of good for construction drawings
• Comment/ approve vendor shop drawings
• Verification & certification of as built drawings & Manuals prepared by contractor & vendors.
