You will be responsible for coordinating with different teams involved in projects to ensure successful completion. This includes managing the design of HVAC systems such as Chilled water systems and VRF System, conducting load calculations, selecting equipment, and overseeing system implementation. Working under pressure and tight deadlines will be necessary to achieve project goals, while also collaborating on multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will involve reading and understanding construction plans, adhering to international construction codes and standards, and conducting heat load calculations according to ASHRAE, ISHRAE & NBC Standards. Additionally, you will be required to calculate loads for AHUs, pumps, fans, pipes, and other equipment sizing, as well as design ducts, pipes, and air distribution systems. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will work on cost estimation, chiller design, duct/pipe design, equipment selection, smoke extraction, pressurization, and ventilation systems for areas such as Car Parking and Kitchen. Proficiency in conducting heat load calculations on HAP and developing documents such as BOQs, Design basis reports, quotations, technical specifications, and presentations is essential. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have proven work experience as an HVAC Design Engineer or in a similar role within Consultant services.
