• Develop and execute Aeries Technologys information security strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
• Lead enterprise security governance, risk management, compliance, and incident response programs across global client environments, including US and UK markets.
• Serve as the primary security advisor to senior leadership and clients, communicating risk posture, mitigation strategies, and security investment priorities.
• Manage and mentor the IT security and SOC leadership teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous skills development.
• Oversee implementation and optimization of security technologies such as Microsoft Azure Sentinel SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud security tools.
• Drive development, enforcement, and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures compliant with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure secure IT architecture and effective delivery of security services.
• Establish, track, and report key security metrics to demonstrate progress in reducing risk and improving security posture.
• Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats; proactively adapt security programs accordingly.

• Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, and security architecture principles (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC).
• Proven expertise in managing enterprise security operations, risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft security stack (Azure Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview DLP) and broader cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience in managing complex client security engagements in diverse regulatory environments, especially US and UK.

• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing security teams.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical security risks into business language for executive decision-making.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Proactive, resilient, and adaptive in navigating the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are mandatory.
• A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in IT security management, with demonstrated leadership in client-facing roles and strategic security initiatives.
• Proven experience leading security programs aligned with global compliance standards and industry best practices.
