Agile Scrum Master

Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Agile Master to join our agile software development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and a proven track record of successfully leading Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software products. 

Responsibilities (are not limited to):

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand up, Sprint Review, Retrospective) to ensure the team is adhering to Agile practices and continuously improving.
• Align AWM with supplier, handover and track some efforts on specific categories, Service User Stories
• Coach and mentor the development team on Scrum principles, agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Manage the backlog, prioritise tasks, and ensure the team is working on the most valuable items.
• Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
• Continuously monitor the team's velocity and identify areas for improvement, adjusting the process as needed.
• Liaise with stakeholders, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on the team's performance and progress.
• Champion the adoption of agile principles and practices across the organization.

Experience

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or agile project management role.
• Thorough understanding of Scrum framework, agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Align AWM with supplier, handover and track some efforts on specific categories, “Service User Stories
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using Scrum tools and project management software.
