As a Scrum Master in Asset and Wealth Management, you are responsible for leading and managing the continued Agile evolution within the 55ip organization. You oversee multiple squads, and ensure that Agile principles and practices are effectively implemented, driving continuous improvement in product development processes. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Leads two to three squads as a Scrum Master and facilitate ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and focused.
- Drives the Agile evolution strategy and implementation, aligning with 55ip's organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on product vision, goals, and priorities.
- Identifies and address impediments to team progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitors and reports on key agility metrics, providing insights and recommendations to squads during retrospectives.
- Utilizes Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and generate Sprint and project reporting.
- Promotes a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the teams and across the organization.
- Stays current with industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies, incorporating relevant insights into the organization's Agile practices.
- Champions Agile values and principles, advocating for their adoption and integration into the organization's culture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- Experience in Agile project management, with minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in an organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Asset Management industry.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
