Agile Delivery Lead (ADL)

As an Agile Delivery Lead (ADL) in the Data Engineering & Analytics team at Jet2, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of data initiatives to our internal business stakeholders. Working at our Pune Technology and Innovation Centre, you will lead multiple scrum teams, acting as an enabler for the effective functioning of the Data Engineering team using Agile Methodology. Your responsibilities will include managing dependencies, removing barriers to implementation, and ensuring a focus on roadmap objectives. Collaborating closely with technology and business stakeholders from India and the UK, you will help maximize business value, maintain a healthy feature pipeline, and identify and mitigate risks and impediments. To excel in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with delivery management expertise, along with a minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience. You should possess a strong track record of successfully delivering project outcomes and be well-versed in Agile techniques such as User Story development, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing. Additionally, you must hold certifications such as Certified Scrum Master or Agile Certified practitioner and have experience working with tools like Azure Devops. Key responsibilities include planning, delivery, and stakeholder management, tracking and managing risks, dependencies, and issues, and driving continuous improvement efforts within the team. You will also be expected to liaise between India and UK delivery teams, collaborate with technical leads, Scrum Masters, and delivery managers to manage interdependencies, and maintain a healthy feature pipeline. Soft skills such as excellent communication (verbal and written), strong team and stakeholder management, and experience working with individuals across different geographical regions are essential for success in this role. You should also possess exceptional planning and time management skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to requirements with effective issue escalation and resolution. Additionally, experience with scaled agile frameworks and managing projects in a fast-paced, agile environment involving multiple teams and systems will be beneficial.
