Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze technical specification data for defined parts across various commodities.
  • Review and evaluate technical specifications as part of the new vendor selection process.
  • Provide engineering support to aftermarket functions including Operations, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Procurement, and Inventory Analysis teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for aftermarket parts and projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate release of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and technical drawings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and ECNs accurately to support parts distribution center objectives.
  • Support data enrichment activities for aftermarket value-line parts.
  • Provide technical support for assigned engineering projects.
  • Convert part measurements into engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes in design and analysis.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities in existing parts through reverse engineering for aftermarket value-line parts.
  • Process and maintain the integrity of engineering data for effective aftermarket utilization.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with design software such as

    CREO

    and

    NX

  • Strong understanding of

    GD&T

    standards
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in reverse engineering and cost optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering
