Aero Thermal Engineer

Role Overview: As an Aero Thermal Engineer, you will be responsible for executing aero thermal analysis projects using commercial FE tools with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with Project leads (offshore/onshore) to understand the scope, boundary conditions, material models, and type of analysis required. Your role will involve adhering to quality requirements, conducting aero thermal analysis as per the standard work, and preparing detailed thermal analysis reports to present to Project leads/Customer. Key Responsibilities: - Execute aero thermal analysis projects using commercial FE tools independently - Collaborate with Project leads to define project parameters and requirements - Conduct aero thermal analysis following standard procedures - Ensure adherence to quality standards - Prepare detailed thermal analysis reports and present findings Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Thermal Sciences or Thermal Engineering - Exceptional technical, analytical, and communication skills - Proficiency in performing thermal analysis of aerospace engines using commercial FEA software - Experience in creating 2D, 3D, and 2D/3D Finite Element models using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench - Ability to develop or modify APDL Macros - Proficient in calculating heat transfer coefficients manually - Advantageous to have proficiency in scripting using APDL, VB, and Python - Familiarity with CAD tools like UNIGRAPHICS and Space Claim - Experience working with CAE software including ANSYS, ANSYS Workbench, and Fluent - Knowledge of PW in-house tools such as AUTOMODELER, BCON, MUDS, FABL, and CFD-FEA Thermal Coupling - Competency in programming languages and simulation tools like ANSYS (APDL), VBA, and Python,
