Job Title: AEM Content Front End Developer Location: Gurugram, India Job Type: Full-Time Department: Digital Experience / Web Development Reports To: Front End Development Lead / Digital Experience Manager Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced AEM Content Front End Developer to join our team in Gurugram . The ideal candidate has 5+ years of front-end development experience with at least 3 years working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . You will play a key role in building and maintaining responsive, high-performance websites integrated with AEM, collaborating closely with designers, developers, and content teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain front-end components and templates within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service) environment. Convert design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, accessible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. Collaborate with UX designers, AEM backend developers, and content authors to implement AEM components and templates that support digital content strategies. Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility, performance, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 standards). Optimize web pages for speed, performance, and SEO. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies. Work closely with QA teams to resolve front-end issues and bugs. Maintain and contribute to the development of reusable UI components and front-end standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of professional front-end development experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) front-end development. Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) , and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind). Proficient with AEM client libraries, Sightly (HTL), and component authoring. Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and task runners (e.g., Webpack, NPM). Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON for dynamic data integration. Knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards (WCAG). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics , or other Adobe Experience Cloud tools. Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js . Basic knowledge of Java (helpful for collaborating with AEM back-end developers). Experience with personalization and A/B testing in AEM. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment workflows.
