Your Role
As an AEM Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions align with business objectives. You will define requirements, optimize authoring workflows, and support the delivery of scalable, user-friendly digital experiences. In this role you will play a key role in:
Leading requirement-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders. Translating business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AEM. Defining templates, components, content models, and workflows to improve authoring efficiency. Managing product backlog and supporting Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and grooming. Collaborating on integrations with analytics, personalization, and third-party systems. Supporting UAT, content migration, and author enablement through documentation and training.
Top 5 Technical Skills
AEM Sites & Components Hands-on experience defining page templates, core components, content models, and authoring policies; understanding of Launches/Live Copy, MSM, and content fragment strategies. AEM Assets (DAM) & Metadata Designing folder structures, metadata schemas, taxonomies, smart tags, and asset governance; integration with authoring workflows and downstream channels. AEM Workflows & Permissions Modeling approval/publishing workflows, roles/permissions, and authoring guardrails; familiarity with Content/Experience Fragments, translation workflows, and localization. Analytics, Tagging & Performance Collaborating on Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics event models, tag governance (Adobe Launch/Tag Manager), measurement plans, page performance and Core Web Vitals considerations. Integration & Release Readiness Partnering with architects/engineers on APIs, search, personalization/CDP, and CRM integrations; writing testable user stories and acceptance criteria; UAT planning and execution.
