Client / Market Relationship Management Summary

This role is about owning the financial relationship with clients and reinsurers, ensuring money is handled securely, payments are made on time, and accounts are reconciled properly. You'll be the main point of contact for payments, collections, and queries, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle client funds securely and follow all compliance rules (FCA, SOX, internal policies).
• Manage payments & collections ensure timely settlement, chase overdue items, and reconcile accounts.
• Be the go-to contact for clients, reinsurers, brokers, and internal teams.
• Monitor performance of assigned accounts and escalate issues when needed.
• Support continuous improvement by joining technical forums and contributing ideas.
• Train junior staff and share knowledge to strengthen the team.
• Travel occasionally to meet clients, reinsurers, or attend office meetings.

KPI & Compliance

• Deliver work accurately and on time, meeting service standards and deadlines.
• Manage workload effectively and support the team when required.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies to protect clients and the business.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Work proactively with peers to share knowledge and achieve the best results.
• Help motivate and develop team skills in line with HR policies.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Attention to detail and logical thinking.
• Key skills into Payable & Receivable.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt under tight deadlines.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Good knowledge of insurance/reinsurance processes, accounting fundamentals, and MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Experience with internal accounting systems is a plus.

• Bangalore

  : 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 11:45 AM – 9:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM

• Transportation available
