In this role at Gallagher Re actuarial team, you will leverage your deep actuarial skills and analytical abilities to support clients in enhancing their business performances and optimizing their reinsurance portfolios. Your responsibilities will include pricing contracts for various business lines such as Property & Casualty, Motor, and Specialty lines like Aerospace and Marine. Your pricing solutions and portfolio optimization efforts will be instrumental in serving international clients effectively. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Conducting data cleansing and processing to facilitate actuarial analysis - Collaborating with on-shore stakeholders and Actuaries to execute Actuarial Pricing Analysis including Experience rating and Exposure rating - Estimating reinsurance pricing and devising optimal Reinsurance Strategies - Preparing and delivering reports and presentations based on conducted analyses - Contributing to Industry studies and Benchmarking activities to establish Gallagher Re as a thought leader in the reinsurance marketplace - Participating in the development of innovative concepts, tools, or process automation To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Graduate/Post-graduate degree, preferably in Stats/Maths/Eco/Commerce - Membership as a student of Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or Institute of Faculties of Actuaries UK (IFoA) - Cleared 3-6 Actuarial exams as per the new Curriculum - Strong professional communication skills, both written and oral - Good comprehension of insurance and reinsurance concepts - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented mindset with a capacity to think beyond assigned tasks - Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and deliver quality work within deadlines - Excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel - Added advantage with knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, etc. - Beneficial to have relevant internship or industry experience of 2-5 years,
