Job Description

The Sales and Admission Counsellor is responsible for driving student enrollments and promoting the beauty school's programs and courses. This dual-role professional combines sales expertise with counseling skills to connect with prospective students, guide them in making informed decisions, and ensure smooth admission processes. The ideal candidate has a customer-focused approach, strong persuasion skills, and a passion for the beauty and wellness industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Lead Management:

Proactively manage leads through calls, emails, social media, and in-person interactions.

Follow up with prospective students to convert inquiries into enrollments.

Meet or exceed sales targets for student enrollments set by the management team.

Identify and target potential audiences through market research and promotional activities.

Maintain a database of leads, track the status of each prospect, and prepare weekly sales reports.


Admissions Counseling:

Provide detailed information about the beauty school’s programs, courses, and career opportunities.

Understand students’ needs and career aspirations, and recommend appropriate programs.

Guide students through the application, documentation, and admission process.

Offer support regarding payment plans, scholarships, and financial aid options.

Coordinate and schedule student interviews or program evaluations, if required.


Relationship Building:

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to foster trust and loyalty.

Provide continuous support to students from initial inquiry to successful enrollment.

Act as a brand ambassador for the school, maintaining a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.


Operational Support:

Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless admission process.

Maintain and update admission records and ensure compliance with school policies.

Handle any queries or concerns from prospective students with professionalism and tact.


Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Counseling, or a related field.


Experience:

Proven experience in sales or admissions, preferably in the education or beauty/wellness industry.

Experience working with CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.


Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Target-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet sales goals.

Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Knowledge of the beauty and wellness industry is an added advantage.
