Job Description

As an Administrator - Global Supplier Quality at Momentive, your role will primarily involve driving supplier claim handling processes to increase compensation received from suppliers, managing documentation, and closing claims in SAP in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be supporting Global Supplier Quality initiatives for supplier continuous improvement and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for effective resolution of supplier issues. Key Responsibilities: - Build an effective process to request compensation from suppliers based on supplier quality complaints - Collaborate with procurement, finance, site quality, and supply chain teams to recover compensation for product and service defects - Work closely with Global Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and Procurement to meet routine deliverables and resolve supplier issues - Enter service supplier complaints and ensure timely responses from suppliers - Maintain complaints with documentation in SAP, closing them upon receiving acceptable feedback from suppliers - Assist in Supplier Complaint data analysis and trending - Provide periodic reporting on Supplier Complaint metrics - Handle business queries promptly and efficiently Decision Making Authority: You will be responsible for communication decisions on following up with suppliers and escalating issues to Global Supplier Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain as necessary. Key Metrics Role Is Accountable For: - Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handled processes/activities - Collaborating with Line Manager and Global supplier quality team to improve Supplier Quality metrics such as supplier complaint rate and closure rate Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline - Minimum 3-5 years" experience in an industrial/chemical setting, with at least 2 years in quality within a manufacturing/chemical environment - Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders - Ability to summarize and transfer information effectively Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams in a global, matrix environment - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality output - Strong prioritization and organizational skills for managing multiple deliverables - Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint - Experience in Supply Chain or Procurement is a plus About Momentive: Momentive is a global advanced materials company focusing on silicones and specialty products to deliver innovative solutions across various industries.
