You are a Collapse Details Lead / Senior Tableau Admin with AWS having 8 to 12 years of experience. Your role involves managing and maintaining Tableau Server, ensuring its reliability, performance, and security. You will handle user management, security measures, data source connections, license management, backup and recovery, performance optimization, scaling, troubleshooting, version upgrades, monitoring and logging, training and support, collaboration, documentation, governance, integration, usage analytics, and staying current with Tableau updates and best practices. Your responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining Tableau Server, managing user accounts and permissions, implementing security measures for data protection, setting up data source connections, monitoring server performance and optimizing configurations, scaling resources as needed, diagnosing and resolving issues, planning and executing server upgrades, providing training and support to users, collaborating with teams for integration, generating reports on Tableau usage, and staying updated with Tableau features. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience as a Tableau Administrator with strong skills in Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop. You should be familiar with AWS services relevant to hosting Tableau Server, have knowledge of SQL and data integration principles, possess problem-solving skills, and excel in communication and collaboration. Relevant certifications in Tableau and AWS are advantageous.
