Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Hostel Management

  • Oversee the functioning of student/guest hostels (check-in, check-out, room allocation, facility maintenance).

  • Ensure discipline, cleanliness, and adherence to institute rules.

  • Address resident concerns and resolve issues promptly.

  • Maintain hostel records such as occupancy, maintenance requests, asset inventory, and feedback.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs, upkeep, and safety checks.

2. Kitchen & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate daily with kitchen staff and food vendors to ensure timely, hygienic, and quality meal services.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling, quality checks, and issue resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and dietary guidelines aligned with yogic lifestyle principles.

  • Track kitchen supplies, consumption patterns, and raise purchase requests when needed.

  • Monitor food cost, wastage, and recommend improvements.

3. Housekeeping & Facility Oversight

  • Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness across campus, classrooms, common areas, and hostels.

  • Prepare cleaning schedules and ensure adherence.

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, washrooms, corridors, and other areas.

  • Ensure availability of cleaning materials and housekeeping supplies.

  • Train and motivate staff for improved performance and discipline.

  • Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline; Diploma in Hospitality or Administration preferred.

  • 3-6 years of administrative or operations experience (hospitality/hostel/educational institute preferred).

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a calm, disciplined demeanor.

  • Knowledge of housekeeping, hostel operations, and food service management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative reporting.
