Job Description

Role Overview

The General Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring smooth functioning of office facilities, vendor management, compliance, and support for employees. The role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and a proactive approach in handling administrative challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office administration including housekeeping, security, pantry, transport, front office, and mailroom operations.
  • Oversee facility management activities office infrastructure, space allocation, maintenance, repairs, and AMCs.
  • Vendor management identify, negotiate, and coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and contractors.
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to administration (labour laws, safety norms, government guidelines).
  • Budgeting & cost control of administrative expenses.
  • Travel & accommodation arrangements for employees and visitors.
  • Maintain asset inventory, office supplies, and procurement of consumables.
  • Handle employee queries related to admin facilities and provide timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (HR, IT, Finance) for administrative support.
  • Manage events, meetings, conferences, and other company engagements.
  • Ensure health, safety, and security standards are maintained in the workplace.
  • Generate regular reports on administrative operations and highlight improvement areas.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PG Diploma in Administration preferred).
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in general administration, preferably in IT parks, corporate offices, or commercial facilities.
  • Experience in handling large facilities / multiple vendors will be an added advantage.
  • Only male candidate preferred.
