Accounts/Logistics Assistant

Role & responsibilities

The Candidates Should have working knowledge of Accounting, Logistics & commercial norms and good knowledge of computers(Knowledge of SAP will be preferred). The responsibilities includes preparation of Accounting documents such as Invoices, billing, logistics operations, Purchase orders, MIS, Maintenance of commercial records in SAP FICO and other works, etc..

Candidate should have strong knowledge of on Commercial & Accounting aspects and independently looking after the logistics and commercial activities of Plant/warehouse. The person will be responsible for the following :

The major responsibilities includes :

1.Ensuring maintenance of Books of accounts including finance management and Assets Accounting,

2. Ensuring implementation of standard procedures relating to arrival of stock, Dispatch of Stocks

3. Physical verification of stock in warehouse and Reconciliation with Book Stock

4..Planning and managing logistics, warehouse and transportation.

5. Supervision of Plant/Warehouse operations.

6. Keeping track of loading of the material. Coordination with product movement department.

7. Proper MIS for night operations as and where applicable.

8.Ensuring proper functional VTS and temperature sensor in all vehicles

9. Monitoring Crate return and all acknowledgement copies will be uploaded in SAP for proper retrieval at a later date

10.Preparation of Journal vouchers and payments

11.Other accounts related works

12.Ensuring proper compliance with all statutory formalities like service tax, GST filing etc

13.Ensuring implementation of standard procedures relating to dispatch of stocks, etc.

14. Involvement in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the stocks 11. E

15. Reconciliation of Vendor/Supplier Ledger

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should be first class commerce graduate with full time graduation in management or first class Post graduation in commerce. The graduation should be a regular and full time. They should also have minimum 1 to 2 years of experience. The age should not be more than 28 years. The candidates having knowledge of local language Tamil/Telugu need only apply.

The candidates with good academic record and job experience will be preferred. The candidate having knowledge of SAP FICO and Logistics & Warehouse management will be preferred.
