Accounts Trainee/ Junior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and a strong desire to learn. You will be trained and mentored by senior staff, and you will provide support across all our service areas. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of accounts for various clients.
• Support the preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns.
• Help compile data and prepare computations for Income Tax returns.
• Assist the audit team with fieldwork, data verification, and documentation during statutory and internal audits.
• Learn to prepare financial projections and project reports for bank loans and business planning.
• Handle various statutory filings with bodies like the Registrar of Companies (ROC), PF, and ESI.
• Assist clients with various government registrations, such as GST, Udyam, Import-Export Code (IEC) etc.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledger accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary data and documents.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA (Finance), or a related field.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Experience: Freshers are strongly encouraged to apply. (0-1 years of experience is welcome).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel.
• Soft Skills:
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred (Not Required, but a plus):

• Familiarity with accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books.
• Completed an internship in a CA firm or accounting department.
