Purpose of the Role :-

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving queries to support the company’s financial operations. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in handling receivables, preferably in the travel or logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update customer account records with precision.
• Monitor outstanding balances and perform regular follow-ups with clients.
• Send Statements of Account (SOAs) and manage collections efficiently.
• Handle customer queries, disputes, and escalations with professionalism.
• Allocate incoming payments against invoices and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline AR processes and improve cash flow.

Skills & Competencies Required :-

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to the travel or logistics industry will be an added advantage.
