Compliance with internal accounting policies and financial controls is a key part of the role. To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial, along with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is required, with experience in QuickBooks Online being highly preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple responsibilities is important. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a general accounting role is necessary to succeed in this position.
