Role Overview:

Accounts Executive Payables

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely approvals and payments
• Match purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices to validate transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts regularly.
• Resolve vendor queries and payment discrepancies.
• Monitor due dates and ensure payments are made within agreed terms.
• Prepare payment batches (cheques, NEFT/RTGS, online transfers).
• Support month-end closing and generate payables reports.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Identify and suggest process improvements in the AP function.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Working knowledge of accounting software
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
