Accounts Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our Production Unit at Peramangalam, Thrissur. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience in managing financial activities in a manufacturing or production environment.

1. Qualification & Experience

• Male candidates preferred.
• Master degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com+MBA / M.Com).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably manufacturing or production-based.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance applicable to manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP / Tally Prime / SAP accounting software.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records – purchase, sales, journal, payment, and receipt entries.
• Manage petty cash transactions, including:
• Recording daily petty expenses.
• Maintaining cash balance and vouchers.
• Submitting monthly petty cash statements to management.
• Manage accounts payable & receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain inventory valuation, material costing, and production cost analysis.
• Coordinate with the production and stores departments for material consumption tracking.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
• Handle GST filing, TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and expense monitoring.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Support management decisions with financial data and variance analysis.

3. Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation laws.
• Proficiency in Tally / Excel / ERP systems.
• Good analytical and cost control skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate across departments (Production, Purchase, Stores,Sales etc.).
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
