Job Description

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense booking
Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Manage working capital effectively, including monitoring cash flow and funding needs
Handle accounts receivable and payable, outstanding verification, and ensure timely collections and payments
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, tax laws, and HORECA-specific financial regulations
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
Coordinate internal and external audits
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Provide strategic financial input to management for planning and business decisions
Lead and mentor the accounts team, including oversight of inward/outward returns and overall team productivity
Streamline accounting systems and processes for better accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in HORECA or FMCG sectors
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial compliance
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Male candidates preferred
Location: Candidate must reside within 10–15 km radius of Puzhal

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
