Accounts & Finance Officer

Position Overview:

The Accounts & Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the organization’s day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, donor compliance, and statutory obligations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure transparency, accuracy, and accountability in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally and ensure timely data entry and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, bank transactions, and fund utilization tracking.
• Prepare donor fund utilization reports and assist in audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and donors on finance-related matters.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the NGO/development sector.
• Proficiency in Tally , MS Excel, and familiarity with statutory compliances ( GST, TDS, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Remuneration:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per organizational norms.
