Accounts Executive

Position:

Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting Entries

• Record invoice bookings and pass all required journal entries in

  Tally

  on a daily basis.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely posting of transactions.

2. GSTR-1A Sales Working

• Prepare

  GSTR-1A sales working

  for online business.
• Extract and compile data from multiple e-commerce platforms and internal systems.

3. E-Commerce Remittance Working

• Prepare remittance workings for all e-commerce business transactions.
• Coordinate with platforms to reconcile settlements and verify payout accuracy.

4. Sales Reconciliation

• Perform reconciliation of

  GSTR-1 vs. Tally sales data

  .
• Identify mismatches, document reasons, and assist in necessary corrections.

5. COD Remittance Working

• Prepare detailed workings for remittances received from courier partners for

  Cash on Delivery (COD)

  transactions.
• Track expected vs. received payments and escalate discrepancies.

6. Credit Note Preparation

• Prepare and validate credit note workings related to e-commerce business activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting of returns, cancellations, and adjustments.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of

  Tally ERP

  and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in e-commerce accounting (preferred).
• Good understanding of GST, especially

  GSTR-1/GSTR-1A

  .
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, data cleaning).
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Education & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
