Job Description

Job Title: Account executive

Department: Accounts & Finance

Location: Wadala

Reports To: Finance Manager / HR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account executive to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial insights to support management decisions. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical expertise in accounting and taxation, along with leadership skills to guide and mentor the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closing of books of accounts with accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESIC, and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for management review.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure effective fund management.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Liaise with banks, vendors, clients, and external stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Support management in financial planning, cost control, and decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Proven accounting experience (typically 2-5+ years, depending on role level).
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Support management in financial planning, cost control, and decision-making.

Working Conditions:

· Work schedule : Monday–Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
