Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Madurai
Reporting To: Managing Director

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Daily Accounting Operations

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
• Manage cash book, bank book, and ledger entries accurately.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

2. Bank-Related Activities

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly.
• Record all bank transactions including payments, receipts, and transfers.
• Monitor cheque deposits and clearances.

3. GST & Tax Compliance

• Maintain records of GST input and output.
• Assist in preparation and filing of monthly GST returns.
• Ensure proper documentation for GST audits.

4. TDS & Tax Compliance

• Deduct and record TDS as applicable.
• Prepare and assist in filing quarterly TDS returns.
• Maintain statutory ledgers and ensure compliance with tax requirements.

5. Payroll Support

• Assist in preparing monthly salary statements.
• Maintain attendance records, overtime, and advance/loan entries.

6. Vendor & Customer Coordination

• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pending bills, discrepancies, and settlements.
• Maintain updated vendor and customer ledger accounts.

7. Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support senior accountants during internal and statutory audits.
• Generate MIS reports such as outstanding statements, purchase summaries, sales summaries, etc.

8. Documentation & Filing

• Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Ensure updated and organized records for statutory compliance.

9. Support to Management

• Provide timely and accurate financial information when required.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities.

Benefits & Other Information

• Work Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Weekly Off: Sunday
• Salary: ₹15,000 to 20,000 per month
