Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Accounting & Reconciliation

Manage daily accounting entries for all e-commerce channels.
Reconcile marketplace settlements (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) with ERP and bank statements.
Verify commissions, shipping charges, storage fees, ads, penalties, and claims.
Track returns, RTO, and damages and reconcile with settlement reports.

2. Claims & Disputes Management

Identify overcharges, short payments, penalty mismatches, and raise claims with marketplaces.
Track claim status until resolution and ensure correct adjustments in books.
Maintain claim tracker for incorrect fee deductions, price mismatches, reimbursements, etc.

3. Sales & Inventory Reconciliation

Validate SKU-wise online sales, discounts, offers, and schemes.
Coordinate with warehouse/e-commerce team to ensure stock accuracy.
Reconcile dispatched vs delivered vs returned quantities.

4. Reporting & MIS

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports:

Channel-wise sales
Settlement summary
Fees & deduction analysis
Profitability per marketplace

Support month-end closing with accurate revenue and expense booking.

5. GST & Compliance

Verify marketplace GST reports (B2B/B2C).
Coordinate with GST consultant for monthly filings.
Ensure correct GST rates, HSN codes, and credit notes for returns.
