Accounts & Compliance Officer

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Compliance & Store OperationsEnsure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed across jewellery retail stores. Conduct regular store process checks, reporting deviations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Monitor billing practices, documentation, and daily store operations for compliance and accuracy. Stock & Inventory Management Carry out physical stock audits at stores on a scheduled and surprise basis. Reconcile physical stock with system records and highlight discrepancies. Coordinate with store teams to maintain accurate inventory records, GRNs, transfers, and returns. Accounting & Financial Management Handle daily accounting entries including monthly invoices, expenses, and petty cash. Maintain books of accounts in a timely and error-free manner. Raise invoices and ensure proper documentation. Track and record store expenses, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documents. Assist in monthly finance reconciliations, including stock, cash, and bank. Reporting & Coordination Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, expenses, and process adherence. Collaborate with store managers, retail operations teams, and Senior Team for smooth workflow. Support internal and statutory audits with accurate data and documentation. Compliance & Financial Statements Coordinate with the CA team to ensure timely filing of monthly GST returns and other statutory taxes. Maintain and support the preparation of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and other financial reports. Ensure all accounting and financial practices align with legal and compliance requirements.
