Accounts Associate

Accounts Associate must report closely to the Head of Account on daily book keeping.

Candidate must be capable to perform in a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial

environment. He/she should be a self starter with limited need for direct supervision and

should have a motivation to assume responsibility and strive for promotions year after year.

Location: The position’s location is Location: P-144 Remount Road, Kolkata – 700027

(Nearest Local Train Station: Remount Road | Nearest Metro Station: Jatin Das Park)

Candidate will be required to physically attend work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts

payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

• Preparing the debtors and creditors ageing for collection and payment respectively.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, including tax

laws and regulations.

• Filing quarterly TDS & Monthly GST

• Handling Statutory & Tax Audit and attaining the department notices.

• Preparing the stock & debtors statements for bank every month.

• Coordinate with internal audit and implement audit recommendations.

• Collaborate with other departments as and when required

• Assist with bank reconciliations, payments, and other banking formalities

• Support in preparation of monthly/quarterly reports

• Assist in audits and documentation

Minimum requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience

• Strong fluency with Tally or SAP

• BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role. Candidate should have worked

in a company with at least 30cr of Revenue

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Yearly bonus
