Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

The Account Assistant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparing reports and returns. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and data entry in accounting software (Tally/ERP).
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and other account reconciliations.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns under supervision.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payments and financial queries.
• Support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with monthly closing and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
