Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  
• Establish robust procedures for monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to align with business goals.
  
• Design and prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with

  US GAAP

  and

  Indian Accounting Standards

  .
• Manage statutory requirements, including

  tax filings

  and

  GST/VAT

  regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial planning, investments, and risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  
• Implement internal controls and process improvements to safeguard assets and enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish accurate reporting mechanisms and resolve financial inquiries.
  
• Recruit, train, and supervise accounting team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• CPA

  or

  CA

  credential required.
• Minimum of

  five years of relevant experience

  in accounting and finance, preferably with exposure to both

  US and Indian standards

  .
• Strong analytical reasoning, organizational, and communication skills.
  
• Proven expertise in leading accounting systems and the

  Microsoft Office Suite

  , particularly

  Excel

  .
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a successful track record in managing high-performing teams.
