Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts (Tally ERP 9 / Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
Day-to-day accounting entries (purchase, sales, expenses, payments, receipts, journal vouchers)
Bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation
Accounts receivable & payable management (invoicing, follow-ups, vendor payments)
Bank Activities
Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C)
TDS/TCS computation, payment, and quarterly return filing (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ)
Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual closing and financial statements preparation
Expense tracking, petty cash management, and reimbursement processing
Coordination with auditors , HR Consultants and tax consultants

Payroll & HR Operations

End-to-end monthly payroll processing for 50300 employees (salary calculation, overtime, incentives, deductions, arrears, full & final settlement)
Maintain attendance, leave records, and employee database
Statutory compliance: PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund
Issuance of Form 16, salary slips, and employment letters
Full & Final settlement for exiting employees
Reimbursement processing (mobile, travel, medical, LTA, etc.)
Coordination with banks for salary crediting and opening salary accounts
Basic HR admin support (onboarding documents, offer letters, experience letters, background verification coordination)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Working knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and other labour laws
Proficiency in MS Office Excel , Outlook etc
Experience with payroll software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
