Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist

Role Overview: As a Financial Analyst at Zalaris, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining financial records: You will be responsible for keeping track of all expenses and transactions made by the organization. - Reconciling accounts: Your role will involve comparing financial statements with actual transactions to identify any discrepancies. - Analyzing financial trends: You will review expenses and financial data to provide recommendations to senior executives. - Ensuring compliance: Following standard procedures and regulations to maintain financial integrity will be a key part of your responsibilities. - Preparing reports: You will assist with financial audits and documentation to ensure accurate reporting. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Semi-qualified CA, ICWA/CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred. - 5+ years of experience in financial accounting and reconciliation roles. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). - Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
